About Re-Pairing
The idea behind RePair Therapy is renewal. And not just for couples—for individuals too.
Maybe you're in a new relationship after a break-up or divorce, and you don't want to make the same mistakes twice.
Maybe this is a second marriage (or third, fourth) for you and your partner.
Maybe you're divorced, but you still have to communicate and make major decisions with your ex about your children.
Maybe you're coping with a new divorce and need to find a way to reinvent yourself and your life.
With individual and couples counseling in Austin, TX, my goal is to help you repair and re-pair!
About Me
Hi there, I'm Kathryn.

I have not always been a therapist. I have worked as a professional
musician, an editor, an event planner, and a publicist. I came to
the field of therapy after my own divorce and new-found
single-motherhood led me to reexamine my path in life and to
recreate myself. The emphasis of my practice is on second
marriages, divorce, and co-parenting—three things I have
experienced in my own life.

I strive to create a safe, comfortable, relaxed environment for my
clients. My goal is to provide affordable, results-oriented therapy
for adults, either individually or with their partners/spouses.
I am sensitive to issues regarding socioeconomic status, race,
religion, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation.

My education is from The University of Texas at Austin (BA, English), The Catholic University of America (BM, Flute Performance), and St. Edward's University (MA, Counseling). I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapists, and the Austin Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have completed the first three levels of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) (externship, core skills, supervision), both levels of Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, as well as the Level 1 Gottman Training.
I have served as the Chairperson for the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Annual Conference and as the Outreach Director for the Austin Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
